Rutland Teaching School are delighted to offer our highly successful Newly Qualified Teacher Programme. During this programme you will visit six high performing schools and have the opportunity to watch learning in action. Each session focuses on a different aspect of learning and always involves time for reflection, discussion and sharing of good practice.

Each session introduces a gap task where the elements of the session can be explored and developed in your own setting. We encourage you to be brave and take a few risks.

Aims of the sessions:

  • To always focus on learning, both the children’s and our own
  • To explore new ideas and deepen our understanding of children’s learning and progress as the year develops
  • Share good practice with colleagues

We are delighted to offer the following courses for our NQT’s:
